THE COLUMNS - 2003

The Columns also known as the Dr. William R. Johnson Plantation is located in the Mars Bluff area located just outside of Florence. The home was built ca. 1850 and sits on 1500 acres. The home is an excellent example of Antebellum styled Greek Revival architecture that was so popular in that period. Located at 5027 East Old Marion Highway (off Williamson Road), tours are available but must be arranged with the owners. Phone 843-669-6730.
