Compatriots Gilbert Townsend and Larry Jones
cleaned up the Platt Family Cemetary.  There
are three Confederate soldiers buried in the
cemetary.  Compatriot Townsend is the official
guardian of the gravesite of the soldier
Franklin M. Jackson.
